Contact Details: Evaton Renewal Project (ERP)

The Evaton Renewal Project Team, based at the new Mafatsane Thusong Centre is responsible for overseeing all the projects of the Evaton Renewal Project. Their job is to ensure that all the objectives of the ERP are being properly addressed. The Evaton Renewal Project reports to the Gauteng MEC for Housing & Local Government, Humphrey Mmemezi. The Gauteng Department of Housing has employed Community Liaison Officers to assist the department with community liaison in each ward of Evaton.

The Evaton Development Forum

The EDF is a community forum elected by the people of Evaton to participate in the Evaton Renewal Project. The aim of the EDF is to keep the people of Evaton informed about the development projects taking place and to ensure their involvement. The EDF holds various consultative and information sharing community meetings and also plays a role in monitoring the progress of the projects.
